The metro station Muzeum A in the direction of Depo Hostivař is closed for repair. Restrictions for passengers traveling through the station will last around five months. In the next year, the works will be completed, which will also see the closure of the platform in the opposite direction.

“To go to the Museum Station in the direction of the Motol Hospital it is necessary to get to Náměstí Míru station and then change to the train in the opposite direction. Departure from the Muzeum station to the Depo Hostivař station can be used by the train in the direction of the Motol Hospital and in the Můstek station to take the train on the opposite side of the platform,” said Ladislav Urbánek, transport director of the Prague Transport Company.

The timetable for work at Muzeum A is divided into different stages, with the restriction for passengers in stages 1 and 2, when one track will be excluded from stopping (trains with passengers will only pass through the station).

The first stage ends on December 12 and the second stage (closure of the platform in the opposite direction) will take place at the start of 2018.

The full reconstruction of the Muzeum A metro station will be completed in September next year.
