The organizers of this event, David Gaydecka and Martin Vonka, who also organize the United Islands Festival, wanted to bring together not only up-and-coming artists, but also to bring foreign and domestic stars to Prague. The Metronome Festival will be taking place during the same time as the United Islands Festival.
“Prague deserves to host a big music festival that connects urban atmosphere with a quality and exclusive music programming. We have a stable background, many years of experience and a long-term plan until 2023. We want to keep moving the festival forward every year, focus on the comfort of all festival visitors and offer them a perfect festival experience – already this year,“- David Gaydecka
“I like the idea of people coming to the Czech capital for a long weekend, doing some sightseeing and spending their afternoon walking Prague islands and parks and listening to young and talented musicians at the United Islands of Prague. In the evening, they take a tram to the Vystaviste and get to enjoy world-class music stars,“- Martin Vonka

Saturday, June 25th: Iggy Pop, The Kooks, Richard Müler, Mydy Rabycad, Max The Sax.
Sunday, June 26th: Foals, Crystal Fighters, Walk Off The Earth, L’Aupaire, Get Your Gun,J.A.R., Ivan Král with Jiří Suchý.
