American Airlines announced it will be adding new seasonal flights – and adding services to existing locations – for summer travelers heading to Europe.

The new flights will begin in May of 2018, adding trips to Budapest and Prague from Philadelphia, as well as additional services from Chicago to Venice.

The service returns American to Budapest for the first time since 2011 when it served the route from its hub at New York JFK. Prague is a new destination for American.

“Summer travel to Europe is very popular,” said Vasu Raja, American’s vice president, Network & Schedule Planning. “These flights will conveniently connect customers from two very important hubs – Chicago and Philadelphia – to exciting markets.”

The flights to Prague and Budapest, will be seasonal, starting May 4 and scheduled to Oct. 27, 2018, the company said.

The Philadelphia-Prague flight will depart PHL at 6:30 p.m., arriving in Prague at 9:05 a.m. the following day. The flight will leave Prague at 11:30 a.m. and arrive in Philadelphia at 3:10 p.m.
