Staff at Prague airport’s Terminal 2 have been allowed to return after an earlier evacuation due to a bomb alert.

Law enforcement agencies of Prague have received an anonymous message about an explosive device at the international airport at Terminal 2.

Police spokesman Kateřina Rendlova said: “No airplane will leave Prague Airport until the situation is normalized. Until we are 100% sure that the airport is not in danger, no plane will leave,”.

Thousands of passengers have been evacuated. Arriving flights are being redirected to other terminals.

There is no further information at this stage.
