The ticket prices will be generally raised from the second half of 2016.

“We do not plan to change the price of one-year and the single half-hour tickets. Children and elderly over 70 will travel free, but the price of some tickets will rise”, said Prague deputy mayor of public transport Peter Dolinek.

Tariff’s increase will affect only tourists who visit Prague for a few days. Most likely, the price will increase for 1-day and 3-day tickets.
