Czech Airlines launched flights between Prague (PRG) and Verona (VRN) on 29 March, a route that will initially operate with three weekly flights (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays).

Flown on the SkyTeam member’s 60-seat ATR 72-500s, the 581-kilometre sector is not operated by any other carrier. Camillo Bozzolo, Commercial Director Aviation of the SAVE Group, commented on the launch by saying: “This flight to Prague is important not only for the connection to one of the most beautiful cities in Europe and its rich history, but also for the connections that the company offers from its hub to destinations in Europe and worldwide such as Seoul and Riyadh.”

As a result of launching flights to Verona, Czech Airlines now serves five destinations in Italy from its Prague base, with Verona joining Bologna, Milan Malpensa, Rome Fiumicino and Venice Marco Polo on the carrier’s route map.
