On Monday, the government will discuss Its participation in defence missions abroad and the continuation of previous missions.

A Czech Defence Minister spokesman has revealed the intentions of the government to prosecute the foreign missions and is planning about joining other missions in Sinai, Mali and Afghanistan.

Since the mandate is going to finish at the end of the year, the parliament, the government and the Defence Ministry need to discuss about the approval of 2.3 billion crowns investments in the missions.

270 will be the soldiers budgeted for 2017, and are going to be deployed  especially in Afghanistan. Another quota is expected to be sent to Mali and a further smaller on in the Balkan Area, traditional deployment place of Czech forces.

Naval operations against pirates along the African coast and operation against migration in the Mediterranean sea will undoubtedly continue.
