After the weekend’s brief warm spell, frosty weather is going to return to the Czech Republic. This week temperatures will drop down to -14°C in some areas according to the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute.

Tomorrow night the thermometer in most regions will drop to -10°C. During the day the temperature will be -3 to 1°C. In Prague, the cloudy sky will stay and will be accompanied by patches of rain. On Wednesday it will be colder with some snow, though much of the cloud cover will clear. Daytime temperatures will range from -7°C to -3°C. At night this will fall to 8 degrees below zero. Thursday daytime will be similar to Wednesday but at night it will be much colder (-14°C).

Snow will return on Friday and temperatures are expected to stay the same. Over the weekend should be slightly less cold. Nighttime temperatures range from -4°C to -8°C and in the day -6°C to -2°C.
