ROPID, which organizes Prague public transport, has promised shorter waiting times between trains by the end of April. More trains will also travel to the ends of the lines.
The changes will be brought in in phases with line B the first to see a faster arrival time. “At peak times the trains will appear in a shorter interval. About 15 seconds. It’s not much, but it certainly helps,” explained Philip Drupal, the Prague spokesman for ROPID.
In the evening the change will be more noticeable. “Between 21 and 22 hours will be on all underground lines shorter interval, about 7.5 minutes instead of ten.”
