Two eco-oriented Czech students suggested an alternative to plastic bags: Frusack – a bio-recyclable bag for fruits and vegetables made of corn cellulose.
The bag of 5-liters capacity can withstand 1,5 liters weight. Frusacks were first released to public during Prague Design Week 2015 under Infiberry brand. The money for mass-production of Frusack was crowd-funded for three days.
Frusacks, that vary in colour and size, are told to serve for two years and can be then recycled effectively. The bags will be available for purchase in September in a pack of three or six and cost around 500 CZK.
