The Prague Myslbek Gallery has opened the second Karl Lagerfeld store in Prague.
The first collection to land in the new boutique is Karl Lagerfeld Spring / Summer 2017. In addition to clothing and footwear, the boutique sells handbags, wallets, gloves, watches and mobile accessories.
The boutique was opened by Vermont owner Amadee Naumann, assisted by high profile models Michael Kocian and Kateřina Sokolová.
This is the second Karl Lagerfeld branch to arrive in Prague in 2017. The first opened in March in a new part of the Chodov Business Center. Karl Lagerfeld is known as the head designer and creative director of Chanel as well as the Italian house Fendi, and his own fashion label ‘Karl Lagerfeld’.
The famous designer founded his own line in 1984, telling Vogue, “I’ve not been dreaming all my life to have my name over a shop. Now, we’ll put it there because it’s the right moment to do it; and I made this name, why not use it?” The brand is operated by the Tommy Hilfiger group, with Karl operating as the chief creative in the design process.
The new store can be found in the Myslbek Gallery, operated by Vermont. Other premium brands run by Vermont include Gant, Le Cremieux, La Martina, Barbour or Nautica.
The new designer store has an area of 80 square meters, with a sleek black and white interior, typical of the German-born designer’s style.
