The Metronome Festival takes place this weekend bringing Kasabian, Sting and many acts from the Czech music scene to Prague. The music festival lineup will host 40 acts including GusGus, Solomun, Blood Red Shoes, Young Fathers and David Koller – taking place on June 23rd and 24th at the Prague Exhibition Grounds in Holešovice.
Aside from musical performances, visitors can enjoy graffiti exhibitions from Czech and foreign artists, an animation workshop, a workout zone, gymnastic exercises, scooter rental, stand up comedy, poledancing, dance showcases, a fashion show, trampolining, and a football and volleyball court.
The second edition of the festival will see legendary Sting will perform on Friday, and the headliner for Saturday is the five-member rock formation from Leicester, Kasabian.
The organizers this year have promised to provide high-quality music, top-notch sound, an amphitheater with amazing atmosphere, covered tents (in case of rain) high-quality food with limited queues, high-capacity Wi-Fi and plenty of seating for all to enjoy.
Two-day admission to the festival site is CZK 2 290, or CZK 1,890 in advance. For those who only want to attend the Friday or Saturday, tickets are CZK 1,490 or CZK 1,290 in advance.
