Last Saturday a group of protestors of the Moravians party (Moravané) lined up in Brno against the use of the denomination “Czechia”, which this government aims to be one one of the names of the country.

According to the protestors the name shouldn’t be taken in account, since historically it refers only to the region of Bohemia, and this would put in the shadows the areas of Silesia and Moravia (which is not an administrative entity since 1949).

Moravians also suggest that other denominations in english are welcome and would suit best, like Czechlands or Czechomoravia.
