Company CRESTYL real estate s.r.o. is developing a new office complex with shops and an interior garden that will be open to the public. Part of the complex will be located between Wenceslas Square and the streets Panská, Jindřišská and Na Příkopě.
The ‘Savarin’ project includes 16,000 square meters of land. A planned reconstruction and restructuring of seven buildings and the demolition of a number of industrial facilities will increase the space inside the block area by four thousand square meters.
Inside the block a beautiful garden and a small inner area with greenery, benches and cafes will be created.
Demolition of these buildings is due to start in January. The investor has promised that historical buildings will remain intact, and only buildings with no historical value will be torn down. After the demolition, archaeological excavations will be carried out at the site.
The main goal is the preservation and reconstruction of neglected historical buildings in the heart of the capital.
Construction of the Savarin complex will cost about 10 billion crowns. The entire facility will be presumably completed in 5 years.
The complex will create thousands of new job positions, as more than 1500 people will work in the offices.
