Czech striker Patrik Schick is set to join Juventus from Sampdoria on a five-year contract worth EUR 30.5 million. If confirmed, the deal would make the 21-year-old the second most expensive Czech footballer ever after Pavel Nedvěd, who also joined Juventus at a fee of EUR 38.5 million in 2001.
Coach Max Allegri will watch Schick in pre-season training before deciding whether to keep him in the Juve squad or allow him to go out on loan next season.
Patrik Schick will reportedly take his Juventus medical in Poland, as he’s on international duty with the Czech Republic Under-21s.
The Italian champions pounced for the 21-year-old Czech Republic international following his impressive campaign with their Serie A rivals, in which he scored 13 goals and chipped in with five assists in 35 competitive appearances.
