The number of tourists staying in Prague this summer increased by 2%, about 50,000 people more compared to 2015.

The number of Czech tourists in Prague grew by 9%, according to Prague City Tourism. A total of two million tourists visited Prague in the third quarter of 2016: mostly Germans, Americans, British, Italians, Poles, and Slovaks.

The Czech capital continues to enjoy the reputation as a safe destination, with very few reservations canceled, despite the terrorist attacks in France and Germany.
