The Czech Republic’s annual high-wheel race has attracted hundreds of bicycle enthusiasts to Letná park.
To amuse the crowd even more, this year’s event included an additional segment called the “Letna snail” which involved climbing onto the bike in the slowest way possible without falling off.
Hundreds of people gathered for the occasion during which fans of the penny-farthing. Most incidents were humorous, like a rider’s pants getting ripped.
The event also highlights the Czech Republic’s culinary customs as participants are provided with traditional snacks including chocolate, beetroot, jelly, pastries and cakes.
