Last Saturday Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka has revealed CSSD May Day Manifesto, where he supported a 10% wage rise to health sector workers and teachers since 2017.

He also said that pension and wages should increase, especially the last ones, from 9.900 CZK to 11.000 CZK. The government is due to decide tomorrow about the health care plan, but Finance Minister Andrej Babiš claims that money spent on the healthcare system is just wasted.

Even Czech hospitals would need an investment of at least seven billion CZK. Czech government sustains the health of its citizens by paying for their insurance 870 crowns a month, which are going to be raised to 930 next year.
