Unexpected ending for a stag party coming back from Prague: a 25-man stag group from Scotland has been left down at Prague Airport, then had to take another flight which stopped at Newcastle Airport, and took the bus to go back to Glasgow.

Jet2, the company with whom they were booked to flight, reported that the crew had to intervene (unsuccessfully) to calm down the group, which was drunk and abusive.

Then the decision: the airline called the police and the men were removed from the plane.
This caused a delay of two hours and consequently frustrated customers.

The group has subsequently allowed leaving with a flight directed to Newcastle and then by bus until Glasgow.

Phil Ward, managing director of Jet2.com, said: ‘Our Onboard Together initiative supports our crew to take appropriate action to stamp out disruptive passenger behaviour on our flights, in order to protect both customers and fellow colleagues. ‘Many of our customers on this flight were concerned about the group’s behaviour which is why we took decisive action to stop them from travelling. We will not let an unruly few stop people from having an enjoyable flight experience.’
