Here’s news for music lovers in the Czech Republic. The fourth edition of the Czech Ukulele Festival will kick off today. The three-day festival will start off with a free day of music and beer in Plzeň. Join a group of ukulele enthusiasts as they travel to Plzeň today 29 for a musical tour of the famous Plzen brewery, followed by free concerts.

The following two days of the festival will take place in Únětice u Prahy and will present a programme of concerts and workshops. The festival will be hosting famous ukulele musicians like James Hill, Taimane Gardner, Andy Eastwood and Kimo Hussey among others.

Apart from the wide range of workshop offerings for beginner and advanced players of the ukulele, this year’s festival will also host a workshop on the traditional Hawaiian dance, Hula. The event will offer an opportunity for ukulele enthusiasts to talk to and play along with professional players, try out and buy instruments and also win prizes by participating in contests at the festival.
