The world’s largest plane is expected to land in Prague around noon on 10 May.

Thousands of aviation enthusiasts are expected at Havel Airport to witness the arrival and departure of the Ukraine-built Antonov An-225 Mriya. The departure is scheduled on 12th May.

The last time “Mriya” flew to the Czech Republic was January 2015: the event had great interest among aviation fans and photographers.

The six-engine, 600-tonne plane, which once transported a Russian space shuttle on its roof.
