In January 2017, a cold air mass from Siberia will come to the Czech Republic bringing snow and extreme cold, up to -15°.
The gradual cooling will start from 3rd January. At the same time rainfalls are expected to be more intense; even in the lowlands will snow.
Early in the morning the thermometer will show -8°; daily temperature will range from -3 to +1°.
A further significant cold snap is expected on January 9th. Clouds and precipitation will be less, but the temperature will fall sharply. Severe frost is expected also in the lowlands. In the morning the thermometer can drop to -15°.
